Correct charging method:
The most taboo of lead-acid battery is that the electricity has been fully run out and then charge it, so that the battery life will greatly discount. Don't be multiple deep discharge, refers to the so-called deep discharge power electric voltage, under voltage power was absolutely,can't continue to add electric drive, electric vehicle battery intermittent discharge the battery.
1, when the lead battery floating charge operation, the battery voltage of the single battery of the battery should not be lower than 2.20v, if the single voltage is lower than 2.20v, it needs to be balanced charge. The balanced charging method is: charging voltage 2.35v/only, charging time 12 hours.

3,Lead battery as far as possible do not use fast charge, if not necessary,within a month not more than two times.
4,Determine the rated voltage and capacity of the battery or battery pack. The rated voltage is used to determine the charging voltage and the rated capacity is used to determine the charging current.
5,The ideal time to charge is when you're using 60~80 percent of the battery.
Common method of charging lead-acid batteries:
1. Pulse charging
It's the simple and economical method,the transformer secondary output of low-voltage ac rectifier into pulsating dc (unfiltered) on the battery charge. The charging current of this method is large and the charging speed is fast. The disadvantage is that when the grid voltage fluctuates, the charging current also fluctuates. It is easy to cause battery damage due to high charging current, high battery temperature rise, and large electrolyte loss, so this method is rarely used to maintain sealed lead-acid battery.
2. Charge with constant current
In order to prevent the temperature rise in the battery is too high and the loss of electrolyte is too large, the charging current is adjusted relatively small, which requires a long time to charge. On the other hand, if the charging time is too long, overcharge will occur. In order to prevent damage to the battery due to overcharge, it is necessary to set up another overcharge detection or timing circuit.
3. Charge with constant voltage?
Theory and practice have proved that when the charging voltage is lower than the upper limit of the charging voltage (for 12V batteries), constant voltage charging is safe, even if the charging time is very long, there is no danger, if necessary, the battery can also work in the state of floating charging.
Attention for charging lead-acid battery：
When it's charging, we should open the battery refueling hole cover, and maintain good indoor ventilation, so as to avoid the end of charging the release of a large number of gases causing danger;
When it's charging, connect the cathode and anode cables between the battery and the charger first, and then connect the charging mechanical and electrical source, otherwise spark may occur when connecting the cable, causing an explosion accident; Never overdischarge and overcharge, overcharge is the process of forming workshop, will lead to the grid metal layer thinning, easy to break the grid and overdischarge will lead to plate vulcanization, active sponge tissue failure, shorten the life of plate;
Battery charging process, should always check the battery temperature, do not overheat and avoid using the charger in direct sunlight or rain, and avoid working in the environment with large dust or corrosive gas.
