Germany And Ghana Have Signed A 100 Million Euro Renewable Energy Cooperation Agreement

Germany and Ghana have signed a $100 million bilateral agreement to support private investment in Ghana's renewable energy projects.

Local media in Ghana have reported that the two countries signed investment and reform cooperation agreements during a three-day visit to Ghana by German President frank-walter steinmeier.The cooperation agreement will also provide funding for vocational training, as part of the g-20 agreement signed between Germany and Africa.The g-20 is designed to promote private investment and sustainable economic development in Africa.

Ghana's President, nana library o f - addo, points out that renewable energy is one of the priorities of Ghana, and expressed the hope that the cooperation with Germany can help develop sufficient water resources and other renewable energy sources.
