Chinese Academy Of Sciences And Siemens Jointly Build Battery Innovation Center

On April 19, Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park, Tianmu Lake Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute, and Siemens Industrial Software Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement at the Yangtze River Delta Physics Center of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center will integrate the advanced battery R & D and manufacturing technology of the Tianmu Lake Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute, Siemens' advanced industrial digitalization capabilities, and build an advanced battery digital platform, dedicated to the development of advanced batteries, robots, high-end equipment, and additive manufacturing technologies. Applications, intelligent services, etc.


The innovation center is expected to be completed in 2019 and officially put into operation in 2020.


It is understood that Tianmuhu Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. was unveiled on April 11, 2019, and was jointly established by the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park. The total investment of the project is 500 million yuan, and a battery material pilot base, a power battery pilot base, a test analysis center and a failure analysis center have been established.
