Italy Has 15 Per Cent Of Its Electricity, But The Fossil Energy Supply Still Accounts For 70 Per Cent

According to data released by Italy's TSO Terna, Italy's electricity generation in 2017 was 281.518 billion kilowatt hours, while electricity demand reached 320,437 million KWH.In 2017, photovoltaic power generation will be 24.811 billion KWH, accounting for 9% of total power generation.In addition, the proportion of water and electricity is 13% and the proportion of wind power is 6%, while the proportion of fossil energy sources (including biomass) still exceeds 70%.
