However, Song Qiuling also pointed out that at present, the global manufacturing industry is intensifying competition and the external environment is deteriorating. There is still a gap between China's new energy vehicles and the international advanced level. Some deep-seated problems and contradictions of new energy vehicles have begun to emerge.
As early as the beginning of this century, China has established "three vertical and three horizontal" (three vertical: fuel cell vehicle, hybrid vehicle, pure electric vehicle three vehicle technology; three horizontal: multi-energy powertrain system, drive motor R & D layout of three key technologies of power battery. However, on the whole, the industry has developed to the present day. The consensus in the industry is that new energy vehicles should develop different technical routes according to different actual conditions and needs, and they are complementary to each other rather than a substitute relationship.
