South Africa Will Launch A Tender For A 1,800-megawatt Clean Energy Project

South Africa department of energy (doe) has announced that the country's next round agreement of renewable energy and independent power producers bidding will begin in November, will be expected to release 50 billion rand ($3.95 billion) investment.

So far, the country has signed up 27 energy projects, mainly solar and wind.

The country's energy minister JeffRadebe said recently that the country with Tanzania and mozambique has a large natural gas reserves, currently in addition to promoting the construction of existing energy project schedule, July and August will also release the gas strategy, to try to reduce our depend heavily on coal.
