- Dec 22, 2017-

Brazil's mining and energy ministry has announced that the largest transmission line in Latin America, in Brazil, is 2092 kilometers long.

Transmission lines adopt 800kv ultra-high voltage technology to allow smaller transmission losses.Brazil's direct-current transmission system USES 600 kilovolts of voltage before the first beautiful landscape power transmission project.

The distribution network spans four states, allowing the power generated by the beautiful landscape power station to be transferred to the secondary market load centers in the southeast and central and western regions.

BMTE, a special purpose company that develops the project, Brazil's state grid holds a 51 per cent stake.
