The Polish Wind Industry Is Concerned About Power Purchase Agreements

- Jan 03, 2018-

Gajowiecki, President of the polish wind energy association, said the Power Purchase Agreement, or PPA, was seen as an important industry development opportunity.PPA is a contract for a particular company to buy energy from a particular renewable energy producer, such as a wind farm, as an alternative to renewable energy financing.

Gajowiecki says the regulations introduced in the past two years have caused serious problems for the wind industry, which can help wind power companies develop.

Gajowiecki points out that because of the tightening of climate policies and standards, the rise in energy prices of traditional power plants seems inevitable and should focus on energy without carbon emissions.
