Two French Companies Will Collaborate To Develop Solar Photovoltaic Water Treatment Plants

- Dec 04, 2017-

China energy storage net news: France renewable energy independent power producers AkuoEnergy with specialized is engaged in the use of solar energy for water treatment of startups Mascara, cooperative development of renewable energy power supply water desalination plant.

The partnership will enable AkuoEnergy experience in the entire pv value chain, including project development, financing, construction and operation, and the new technology of Mascara is using electricity generated by pv panels for power supply of fresh water production technology.

Mascara company's pilot project for water desalination of 30 kw from the grid in ABU dhabi in 2016.

In 2017, the company also launched its anti-osmosis desalination project in French Polynesia.

The company's technology can now be competitive prices, no carbon emissions to provide drinking water for remote communities, but the challenge is how to increase the battery in the system, so that it is not working intermittently.

Water desalination is a serious problem in the Middle East, and the photovoltaic industry has been hoping that the region will accept solar water desalination plants to make it carbon-free.Given the historic low cost of solar energy in the Middle East, some governments might consider this proposal seriously.
