Univergy Will Develop A 15MW Solar Project In South Korea

Recently, Univergy International said it is developing a 15MW solar project in south gyeongsang road, South Korea.

Univergy recently opened a new office in Seoul, where the government has set a target of 6.38 gigawatts of renewable energy by 2030.Univergy has also set a target of developing a 300-megawatt renewable energy project in the country by 2018.

Southeast Asian executive director, executive director of project development and Univergy eu YagoAcon said: "we work in South Korea since the end of 2017, because we see that for foreign companies specializing in renewable energy development is a very good chance.We plan to deliver the project in the first quarter of 2019.

It is understood that by 2030, the rok government will use 20% of its renewable energy to generate electricity.The installed capacity of renewable energy has reached 15.1GW in 2017, and will increase to 63.8GW by 2030, with an additional installed capacity of 48GW.

Earlier this year, Univergy International formed a joint venture with Japanese companies European clean energy Japan and Thanh NienMedia Corporation of Vietnam to develop a 44.4MW solar project at DakNong in Vietnam's CuJut district.
